Stylish Super Second-Hand Book Sale

Have you got old books that you need to clear to make way for your summer reading stash? Donate them to the Book Council to help us continue to create happy young readers through our Writers in Schools programme.

We will run a second-hand book sale in April next year, to support our current education programmes, and help us to carry on our good work by developing exciting new ones. We are looking for all types of books – fiction, non-fiction, children’s, anything goes!

To donate, please let us know whether you will drop your donations in to the office, or whether you would like us to pick them up. Drop-offs are of course preferred. We will do several pick-ups in the lead-up to the sale, and can cover everywhere within Wellington City.

The difference with this sale is that we will have several authors around, doing signings of their old and new books, and talking to their fans. Stand by for more details of date and venue.

We will be closed from Friday 23 December, and will open again on Wednesday 4 January 2012.
