Macmillan Brown Prize for Writers

This annual award is open to all undergraduates at New Zealand Universities of whatever standing and to all graduates of not more than three years’ standing.

Candidates submit either an essay, a short story, a poem or group of poems, a short play, or other work in an appropriate form, dealing imaginatively with any theme.

Applications to the Registrar, University of Canterbury, by 5pm on 31 August. Application forms available from the Scholarships Office, University of Canterbury.
