Whanganui, Creative Writing Course with Christodoulos Moisa
4-10 January 2009

Explore the initial creative impulse with award winning poet and artist, Christodoulos Moisa. Using the genres of Haiku, and Prose Poetry, Chris’ will delve into the creative process as it relates to writing and introduce you to strategies through which you can overcome writers block. At the end of the course each participant  will have one work included in an anthology to be printed and launched on the second to last evening of the course at a public reading. This course is suitable for beginners.

Christodoulos Moisa was born in Lower Hutt, from Greek Cypriot parents. He spent 6 years of his childhood in Cyprus, and 18 months before the 1974 invasion of Cyprus by Turkey. The author of seven books of poetry, he also writes essays, short stories and is currently working on a novel.
