NorthTec Online Creative Writing Programme

NorthTec offers a diploma and an advanced diploma in creative writing. The Diploma in Applied Writing is for those wishing to learn to write for children and adults. It is a two-year hands-on course which is studied through an interactive website. You may study part-time or full-time to suit your circumstances.

Each year, we meet in Wellington for a week to visit publishers, meet writers and join in any writing-related activities.

There are two intakes each year, in February and July.

The Advanced Diploma in Applied Writing is for people with writing experience, the Diploma or an equivalent qualification to complete a major project with a mentor. It is also delivered through the internet.

This course begins in February and ends in November.
