ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Singh, Nalini (1977–) was born in Suva, Fiji, where she spent her early years before moving to New Zealand aged 10. Singh studied at Mt Roskill Grammar and Auckland University, graduating with degrees in Law and English Literature. She worked as a solicitor for two years until her first book was published at the age of 25. She also spent three years teaching English in Japan and travelling around Asia, absorbing experiences for her writing.

Her first book Desert Warrior (2003) was picked up by Silhouette Desire in 2002, and since then Singh has devoted herself to writing fulltime.

The books that followed include Awaken to Pleasure (2004), Awaken the Senses (2005), Craving Beauty (2005), Secrets in the Marriage Bed (2006), Bound by Marriage (2007) and Lord of The Abyss (2011).
